Sims Machining LLC was founded in 1979 by Lynn Sims. Mr. Sims had a vision of establishing a quality machine shop in Timmonsville, SC to supply precision CNC milling, CNC turning, and automatic screw machine grinding to Florence County and surrounding areas. He started the company with three Brown & Sharpe screw machines, two tool & die makers, and one screw machine set up technician. Today we have nine milling centers, nine lathes, six automatic screw machines, centerless grinders, gear cutting threading machine, hones, broaches, saws and much more.

After thirty years, Sims Machining, LLC is a successful family-owned and operated business. Here at Sims Machining, we take pride in our work because our name is riding on the products that we produce. We are constantly striving to improve our quality and delivery in order to provide the service our customers need and demand. We are ISO-9001:2008 registered since 2010.

Our facilities are accessible to both Interstate 95 and Intersate 20. We provide free local delivery.
